Who are Theodore Rigerts, L. V. Gēringers and Wilhelm Ķuze?
Theodore Rigerts: a German entrepreneur who opened a sweets factory in 1870 to produce chocolate and candies. L. V. Gēringers: a sweets and tinned food factory named after him was established in 1881. Wilhelm Ķuze created the sweets manufacturing company STABURADZE in 1910. Nowadays, since Latvia has gained independence, the three factories have been joined, making up LAIMA, the biggest and most experienced sweets manufacturing company in the Baltic States.
