THE RESULTS OF SIX MONTHS OF ACTIVITY OF JSC LAIMA RIGA, 19 August 2008: In the first six months of 2008, JSC LAIMA has sold products for 13.7 million lats in local and foreign markets, which exceeds the results of the first half of 2007 by 5.8%.

RIGA, 4 June 2008: By an invitation from JSC LAIMA, ten pupils from the island of Ruhnu are visiting Riga today and tomorrow. On the first day of the trip, the children will become acquainted with Vidzeme and visit Sigulda. Tomorrow they will visit JSC LAIMA’s production units and the “Chocolate Room” to become acquainted with the mysteries of making delicious chocolate. In the afternoon, they will tour Old Riga and visit the Riga Zoo.

RIGA, 21 April 2008: JSC LAIMA has started offering customers its pride – a new collection of exclusive chocolate bars, consisting of four kinds of chocolate: “Dzērvene un rieksts” (Cranberry and Nut), “Tumšā mandele”(Dark Almond), “Tumšā lazda”(Dark Hazelnut) and “Piena lazda”(Milk Hazelnut). An completely new packaging design has been created for the exclusive collection and a special, eco-friendly packaging material has been used.

JSC LAIMA HAS SUPPORTED ALMOST 70 SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS IN 2007

RIGA, 21 February 2008: Following the company’s accepted guidelines of social responsibility, JSC LAIMA has supported six organizations and one private person with 7,175 lats in the last year. Additionally, more than 60 organizations have received the company’s products.

VALENTINE’S DAY MADE SWEETER BY 28,000 KILOGRAMS OF JSC LAIMA SWEETS

RIGA, 18 February 2008: A little over 28,000 kilograms of JSC LAIMA sweets were consumed on Valentine’s Day in Latvia. Compared with the average sales volumes this February, the sale of chocolate bars and assorted candies has most grown on February 14.

The sales volume of JSC LAIMA Christmas assortments has grown by 17%

RIGA, 9 January 2007: In the last festive season, JSC LAIMA sold a total of 2,8 million lats' worth of Christmas product assortments in the markets of the Baltic states, which exceeds the respective 2006 indices by 14%. The sales volumes in Latvia have increased by 11%, in Lithuania by 26% and in Estonia by 24%. All in all, the company has sold a total of 3.2 million lats' worth of Christmas products in both Latvian and foreign markets, whith wxceeds the indices ot the previous year by 17%.
